I thought that this video was really interesting. No filters, membranes or chemicals are required to filter the water. I could not really find any explanation as to how the vapor compression distiller works, as there was no information on it at the DEKA website.

One thing that I did not realize is that 50% of the worlds diseases are contracted because of waterborne pathogens.
